Sky Viewing Cards

Many people ask about reception of their favourite programs from Europe whether they are taking their Digibox's away with them on holiday in Caravans/motor homes or having systems installed in holiday homes etc.
The answer is YES it is possible - how many times have you walked into a bar in Spain to watch your favourite soaps or to see a Premiership football match ?
There are at present 3 Astra satellites at the same orbital position (28.2 degrees East) sending signals down to us - each containing their own channel packages.
 

To watch Sky digital in Europe you must have a Sky viewing card and a Sky digital  receiver.

Why can't I subscribe to Sky directly ?

Due to the licensing arrangements between Sky and the various film companies, Sky viewing cards can only be issued to by residents of the UK and Ireland.
